Cusines in Sri Lanka can be very hot indeed. Many well known dishes are,Indiyapa Chicken curry, Pumpkin curry, A dish of grated cocounut, chilli and spices. Sambol is the general name used to describe the spicy-hot dish. Some desserts and sweet loved through out the country are Semolina and jaggery pudding, Kirala (Lumnitzera littorea) fruit milk which is a mix of Kirala fruits and treacle and Wood apple milk. Are all famous.
